I am Philip Base, a Co-Director in Preventa Limited. Preventa has been trading since 2002 when I was trading as a sole trader. In 2009 Preventa finally registered its brand as a Registered Trademark ready for the big adventure ahead. Also in 2009 we became a Limited company.

In 2010 I had plans for growth as I saw an opening in the marketplace for a quality service as there seem to be lots of sole traders unable to offer the response times demanded by business users.

In November 2010 I made a deal with Daron Fisher from Computer Troubleshooters Redditch to take on his client base which helped boost Preventa's business profile. In February 2011 I started looking for another company to acquire to boost sales and also a variety of different IT skills. I decided to bring Andrew Watson from Computer Geek into Preventa to take control of the remote support desk. In March 2011 my latest business decision was to merge Preventa with Specialised Computer Systems UK Limited to form the new Preventa Limited.

This lead to Preventa gaining Simon Bateman, an established high quality IT Engineer who fits into our future plans for the business. We have now been merged for over 12 months and have a great business model ready to move forward and offer our clients a superior service. We are now a seven strong company who cover all the requirements that a business would need from an IT support and service company. We have some great alliances with fabulous IT partners such as Microsoft, ESET, Synaxon, Draytek...

We have our own online backup system, Preventa Backup where we can give selected clients 20Gb of free online backup. We are now Sage partners, we support Sage Line 50, Sage 200, Sage Act!, Sage Manufacturing and much more.
